Presidium

The Presidium discusses the Academy’s affairs and handles all significant matters concerning the Academy’s operations and activities before they are potentially presented to the members.”

The Presidium consists of the President, the Secretary General, the Editor, as well as two Chairpersons and four Representative of the Classes, elected respectively by class of the humanities and social sciences and the class of natural sciences.

The President and Secretary General each receive an annual honorarium of DKK 250,000, and the Editor receives an honorarium of DKK 125,000 annually. Other members of the Presidium do not receive any honoraria. In addition, the President, Secretary General, and Editor are released from their home institutions equivalent to one day per week, and all Presidium members are reimbursed for travel and accommodation expenses related to their duties in the Academy.
